Full-grain bullcalf leather brings together suppleness and a very elegant silkiness. This exceptional leather is worked in a width of over 2 mm to highlight its natural grain. It is consistent and uniform to craft a traditional leather goods creation. Full-grain leather is a leather whose surface had remained natural and intact. It is the most noble part of the leather, and that which we favor.

At Le Tanneur, we source the finest materials and expertly work with 'full-grain' leather. It is the most premium part of the leather, and the one we prioritize. Therefore, 100% of the leathers used for our AH24 collection are certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), a label responsible for evaluating tanneries around the world.

Ethical production

Our partner workshops located in Europe, North Africa, or Asia have signed the Le Tanneur Ethical Charter. Each new season, we are committed to prioritizing production in our workshops located in the Pays de la Loire and offer collections such as Madeleine, Louise, or Sans Couture, all made in France.

Our commitments

In addition to full-grain leather, Le Tanneur is committed to using recycled materials. We use leather scraps to create our jewelry boxes, which are now mostly made from recycled leather. Furthermore, all our packaging is certified by FSC and PEFC labels, both ensuring sustainable forest management.
